We stayed here with our 2 dogs near the end of June. The staff was friendly and made sure we had a downstairs room near the exit. What we really were impressed by is that they had a small fenced in dog run right outside the exit. The location was not far from Buttersville Park (beach) and Central Bark both of which we and our dogs enjoyed. There is also a very nice and good sized pool and hot tub. The room was quiet and there was a number of choices for breakfast.

This is a very beautiful beach with gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. We were visiting in late June and got to the beach before noon, so it wasn't too crowded, but there were a number of people coming as we left. Not a far walk to the shoreline and very spacious. Worth the trip.

We didn't arrive until about an hour before sunset, so there was only one or two people there. We were just passing through the area, so not sure if we just got lucky, but the water was very calm.

We stopped here with our two Brittanys while traveling through Michigan. It was a good stop for us since it wasn't too far from Rt. 31. It was just the right size for them to stretch their legs without us worrying about them disappearing for too long or getting all messed up. Also a number of benches and garage cans around for convenience. We especially enjoyed lots of big shady trees on a warm day.

We discovered this dog park on a road trip with our Brittanys. We felt this was one of the best parks we have been to. It is huge park with paved trails, lots of grassy areas to run, woodsy areas to explore, and a fantastic, clean beach that both dogs and people were swimming in. They had benches along the path and waste disposal tubes that went into the ground. We will definitely return if we come back through Kansas.
