Beautiful hike
Sugarloaf MountainGreat hike with the dog. There are two trails but I didn’t think they were labeled very well, however you can see the more difficult trail going up and has lots of roots and logs. The trails merge and there are quite a few stairs and some of the initial step up on the stairs are quite big. The view is incredibly picturesque on the top and there are three separate viewing areas.
Great spot with a plethora of food options
The Blu MoonThis place was great, they are super dog friendly. the sidewalk patio is where dog are welcomed with a water dish and the staff was excited to have our pup join in dinner❤️
Super nice hotel
Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus PolarisThis hotel was very clean and updated. They were prepared for us to have a pet accommodating room as we booked through BringFido. The lobby smelled nice and our room had wipes for use to use if we felt we needed to clean anything, but our room was nice! The breakfast was nice. It had plenty of options for everyone.
Worth the hike
Cedar FallsCedar falls is 1 mile hike about half of it is down hill and there are steps to help, then you hike along the creek and are able to see the falls. Very pretty! The hike out is not bad but up hill. Its a tolerable slope and also has flat wood and earth stairs to help ease the way out. Our German Shepherd loved this hike!
Great food!
Blackstone's Pub & GrillBlackstone’s has a cute patio great for people watching and convenient location downtown Flint. Our server brought a bowl of ice water for our dog. The food was great too! I would definitely come back again!
Very pet friendly and clean
La Quinta by Wyndham Madison American CenterThe entire hotel was pet friendly and there were many other pups on site. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 was we stayed a week and we would have to request our room to be refreshed 24 hrs in advance and also due to COVID restrictions the breakfast was pretty minimal at best. The staff was nice and the space was great. We were a couple miles out of downtown Madison but close to many stores and restaurants (close for driving not walking).
Great location and great food
Tipsy CowRight downtown by the Capitol and the food was awesome! They brought our dog a water bowl and they all were super welcoming to having a pup on the patio!
Wide open space!
Dog Park at Sycamore ParkThis park is awesome! It is essentially a big open field with paths mowed and fenced in. I took away a bone for there not being water available for the dogs to drink. We just brought our own once we found that out.
There’s a big area in the center with picnic tables and a spot for the dogs to all gather and play.
Great food and nice atmosphere
Grand Rapids Garage Bar & GrillThe outdoor patio was a nice spot for our dog. Great Mac and Cheese and chicken sandwiches! Will definitely come back!
