Great place for dog lovers
Best Western Plus High Country InnThey have a dog park, a small trail behind the hotel. Super great place for me and the pup.
Perfect stop for road trips
Canyon View Dog ParkGreat Location. It’s right off I70 which made it a great pit stop for me and my dog on our way to Salt Lake City. Multiple different areas for your dog to go. even has a little pond if you don’t mind getting wet. could be larger but it’s perfect for the purpose it serves.
So many trails!
Golden Gate Canyon State ParkGreat state park with various level trails for you and your pup. Could spend an entire week just roaming around. I went early in the morning and didn’t run into much traffic but as I was leaving people were pulling in! don’t forget to bring cash to pay the park fees if you don’t have a year pass. $10 per vehicle for the day.
holy views!
Antelope Island State Parkok seriously, this place is GORGEOUS. spent a solid 3 hours there early in the morning and it was like we had the park to ourselves.
pros: great views no matter where you look. tons of trails that all allow pets (must be leashed). tons of photo ops. wildlife (BISON!?!). not far from SLC
cons: BUGS. so. many. flies. and spiders. it was a little much but it gets better the further from the shore of the lake.
Beautiful Park
Shoshone Falls ParkThe views of the falls are breathtaking but there’s not a whole lot of dog friendly activities around the park. the adjacent lake also does not allow pets which is a bummer.
Great hotel!
Aloft Broomfield DenverLovely hotel in a lovely location. Has a large vacant lot across the street perfect for bathroom breaks. The cleaning fee is a little expensive so for that it gets 4 bones.
