My Sweet Chihuahua and I recommend a stay here

I am a mid 50 year old Southern Lady, driving a loong way with my very sweet, post-menopausal chihuahua buddy. So - my review is from this view. The first thing I look for when I arrive is easy parking, good, hot shower and comfy bed - all of which La Quinta Austin Mopac definitely has. I forgot how much I really appreciate Southern Hospitality, and all the staff I interacted with - from front desk, to housekeeping and a nice lady named Debra (super sweet) definitely exhibited it. The carpet in the room is so soft, feels good when barefoot (that seems a rarity). There were 8 plug outlets (6 are on lamps and 2 usb ports) The included Wifi is quick and reliable. Tub is good size, shower head has massaging component, sink is large and lovely, plenty of thirsty towels and face clothes, they provided small shampoo/conditioner and a good hairdryer. The hotel has a small store for snacks and misc. Parking was easy ( right outside room) and the hotel has those roll around things that you can put your luggage on to transport it.

During my stay, I could hear car doors closing and clickers and people who for some reason were very loud although they were arriving at 1AM. The hotel is caty corner to a very nice, pet friendly, fancy schmancy shopping center called the Domain. Whole Foods is across the street within walking distance. There was plenty of sidewalks and walking areas for my doggo and there was a station with poop bags for her. I'm so glad I was able to stay here.

Great shade, water bowl at store, poop bags for pet. Just great. I will definitely come here again!

Highly recommend stay here

So much! I highly recommend staying here. I'm driving long distance with my chihuahua and they made it so easy and comfortable for me from my easy check in with friendly, helpful staff to the great room with a big, extremely comfortable bed. It has a large TV, plenty of places to plug in items and the clock by the bed has a USB charger. Room comes with a mini fridge and microwave. Very attractive room and very clean, quiet. Had a nice area with grass in front where I walked my chihuahua. Easy access to hotel and there is a gas station across the street and a McDonalds within walking distance. They also serve a breakfast in the morning with ....Coffee! Yeah.
