Great place to bring your dog
Doc B's TampaDoc B’s has an upscale but casual outside dining area that is dog friendly. The wait staff are friendly, and they automatically bring water to the table for your dog. The food is good too.
They love dogs!
Amber Hotel BavariaLola was given a special treat after we checked in. They also gave us a special tag to put on our door in case we left her alone in the room for a short period of time. They have a cozy dining room for families who bring their fur babies to eat in the restaurant. This was especially nice as most places want you to sit outside regardless of the weather. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Conveniently Located but Sketchy
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Athens AlabamaThe room was filthy. Upon first glance the room appeared to have been recently renovated. New laminate flooring, new headboard and dresser. However, the floor was very dirty. The soles of my feet turned black just from walking from the bed to the bathroom. There was dark brown marks on the doorframes, there was thick dust that accumulated on top of the TV. The recently painted door into the motel room looked like someone had tried to kick it in on several occasions. There were sketchy people that looked like they may live at the motel.
Read the fine print
Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel & SuitesA mistake was made for the check-in date on the reservation. The hotel clerk refused to accommodate me.
Great place to bring Fido
Stottlemyer's SmokehouseVery casual vibe. The Cornbread Smokestack is awesome! The live music took me back to the 70’s. They provide fresh cold water for Fido. The picnic tables are on crushed shell and sand.
