Traveling with Sheba, a 4 yr old Akbash/ Great Pyreneese mix.

The room was ok. We appreciated the updated bathroom with walk in shower and that there was no carpet. The bed was a 3 star, the pillow a 2 star but the bed and the room was clean. Our room was on the second floor which was not great. The noise from other rooms ( sides and under) carried thru and my dog actually barked a few times. She never does during hotel stays. Yet this hotel accepted a large dog (95 lbs) and there was no pet charge. There was a small grass area with dog waste bags, sufficient for a small dog. We ventured out on a 30 min walk. The neighborhood wasn't great but not bad either. There were walk ways on near by roads and plenty of hotel areas. The value for money made this a 4 bone review.

I took long dog walks. There where sidewalks and moved grass (instead of knee high). I found Buffalo Lake wild habitat and lake trails about 10 min walk from hotel. There’s tables and benches to have lunch. Yes, it’s a hotel area of the highway but this is one of the better ones. The value for the room exceeds what I paid.

The room was amazing, no carpet, large bathroom with tile flooring and a dog friendly couch. The kitchenette was a nice surprise. The area allowed for longer dog walks which we needed on this long trip. It felt safe and there were grassy areas. The pet fee was reasonable. I recommend this Beat Western 100%.

The room was clean yet dated. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. What made this one of the greatest stays while traveling with my dog was 1) the country setting, 2) the ground floor with walk out entry, and 3) grass areas. I took out my folding chair and sat outside our door with my dog all evening. We walked the grassy area and the road to the clinic/hospital which had no traffic.

The area is a bare minimum to comfortably walk your dog. Ok for a night's sleep while passing thru, that’s it.
We got greeted with enthusiasm and invited to sit anywhere. We chose the outside patio as it was overcast and cool. The waitress brought a water bowl for my pup immediately. Sheba enjoyed her burger just as much as I did the incredibly tasty smoked ribs.
