Would NOT recommend
Red Roof Inn Richmond SouthSomeone left a chicken drumstick right outside our room. My dog tried to grab it but thankfully knows the leave it command. There were cigarettes littering the ground as well as broken glass. People begged me for money outside of my room. People hung out around the rooms at night making lots of noise, at one point the police showed up and there was a lot of screaming and arguing. It was not a good place to stay.

Unsafe and unclean
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham YorkUpon checking in there were suspicious looking curly hairs in the bathtub. We checked in late so I was tired and didn’t ask for a room change, but major ick. The grounds were just as bad. When walking around the grassy area the ground was littered with cigarette butts and trash, we even saw a broken knife (machete?) at one point. I have a well behaved pup, but if I was still afraid of him eating something on the ground or getting hurt. My room was nonsmoking but it smelled like cigarettes from all of the smoking next door. On our second night we also had to listen to some very loud, very passionate sex happening in one of the nearby rooms. It drowned out the noise from the crappy TV. Overall I was not a fan, I will not be staying here again and I do not recommend it to others.
