We, my wife and I, and our dog, Bengal, returned to this hotel where we have stayed several times before while making transit between Philadelphia and Downeast Maine. Our experience supports the idea that something done well is simple. Bengal was greeted warmly upon our arrival, as if a cherished family member were returning home. We walked around the grounds outside the hotel, which - while not large - were enough to give him (apparently) some good sniffs. We all slept comfortably and left the next morning for the next leg of our trip. It was all nice and comfortable, and we will be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and our dog Bengal loved walking around the grounds.

Fido (our dog "Walter") enjoyed his stay. Nice grassy area to sniff and a comfortable room. Cracker Barrel is next door and Fido enjoys the bacon!

The room is very comfy and set up with thoughtful details for travelers (hooks on wall, big sink in bathroom, comfortable seating). Our dog Walter loves the staff and has fun exploring the grounds.

Trees everywhere and so many places to sniff. Our dog loved walking around and so did we. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Our cabin was very clean and very comfortable.
