Not particularly “pet” friendly. Staff who answered the phone on 2 occasions didn’t seem to really want to assist. Airport locations was complicated to get to and maneuver around in with multiple pieces of luggage to unload and a pup, but there was at least offers of assistance with the bags inside the hotel and up to the room, and even to the gate. Our “pet” room had a massive solid wall with a small thick glass window that looked directly into the airport mechanical room, and I do mean directly where light barely comes through. Not sure I would book this location again and instead choose another hotel just outside the airport complex that has an available shuttle.

Hotel is like new. Most rooms seem to offer great views. Staff was friendly. They didn't make any special acknowledgement of the doggie, but we rarely see this anyhow even though our Thomas is a real cutie. Various areas around the property for a quick potty or even a beautiful nearby neighborhood or expansive sidewalks for longer walks. Nearby to Pass-A-Grille and St. Pete beaches as well as Fort Desoto Park. DeRusso's Pizzeria was excellent! Highly recommend this hotel!

The Inn itself isn't so special, being a bit rough around the edges and showing age at every turn, but as for a place to stay with a pooch, it was perfectly fine. There is a massive lawn area and endless places to walk. Right in the historic district with shopping and dog friendly restaurants a few steps away, close to parks and trails as well.

Cons: Unfriendly front desk person in the afternoon/evening. Tired/refurbished decor. Rough around the edges. A bit unkept. Only one working elevator. A/C out in the hallways. Loud noisy units brought in and run through rooms. Terrible breakfast options… ick! Noisy halls with a late night crowd coming and going and loitering. Smell of marijuana was strong at times

Pros: Suite with kitchen and bedroom is nice to have. Bed was comfortable. Pool/courtyard area is nice but we didn’t use due to cooler temps. Plenty of areas around the hotel for dog walking. Publix grocery, Dunkin Doughnut, and a nice pizza/Italian restaurant, and others across the street. We would likely look elsewhere if we ever chose to visit the area again.

Some space under the docks canopy while other spaces are open air on the dock or patio and most with umbrellas. All very rustic…and remember, it’s surrounded by boat docks, and fish markets. Lots of bird wildlife. Great food for such a simple casual eatery. Dogs can be just about anywhere without issue. We enjoy going and always take our Thomas. Cash Only!

Desk staff was awful, couldn’t care less about being professional and offering a proper greeting or welcome; not to us, and certainly not to our little dog. Hotel in general was run down, unkept and in disrepair; dirty, rooms are tiny, and furniture is tired and fabrics all stained and dirty. No closet door, and barely cleaned on the surface much less any attention to details. Limited availability to a couple luggage carts and no Do Not Disturb signs. Housekeeper checked the entire floor of empty rooms to locate one for us and finally found one in something like the 10th-12th room she checked. Sadly, guests were stealing the few available from room to room late in the evening, and ours was also taken. Lots of folks just “hanging out” making the place not seem so safe even though there was a gal with a “Security” shirt on. Stay elsewhere unless finance are most important.
