This dog park is a nice use of space under an overpass. Both the large and small dog areas are very long so there is plenty of room to chase a ball or play with other dogs. There are nice big shade trees, benches and picnic tables and bags and cans to dispose waste. It would appear that a number of people chose not to pick up after their dogs so we had to watch our step but the park itself is nice.

Dog Park at Kenwood Park

The Dog Park at Kenwood Park is a fenced, off-leash area in St. Petersburg, FL featuring separate sections for both large and small dogs to enjoy. Visiting canines must be current on vaccinations, and there is a limit of two pups per person. Please note that the park is closed on Tuesdays for scheduled maintenance from 1pm until 3pm.
