    Love it!

My dogs always have a great time. The other dogs and their owners are great. The key seems to help keep the riff raff put.

    Correction

Just a correction - the park does not cost 25.00. They give you a key for a deposit of 10.00 and when you give the key back you get your money back. To get the key you have to print a form from the Pottstown.org website and have your vet fill it out. They want to know if your dog is up to date on rabbies shots.

    Not enough dogs

I have a 11 month old dog that loves to play with other dogs. I usually take her to Phoenixville because there are always alot of dogs there. The handful of times I took her to the bark park I didn't run into one dog. I started a facebook page called pottstown dog park so people can post when they are going to be there and maybe we can get some doggie play dates going.

    Should Be Better

I been coming to this park for a few months, at first it was great but leatly dog owners are not picking up after there dogs. This park gives us bags. This place is very muddy by the gates (could use some straw). Other than that my dog and I do enjoy it.

    Better than nothing

The bark park isn't bad, but it's far from good. The size of the park is decent, although only about 1/4 of the size of the total area of the Reynolds Dog Park in Oaks. The fence/gate quality is pretty low. Just cheap galvanized chain link, and one of the service gates doesn't completely close right, so dogs of smaller breeds may be able to sneak out. There are 3 or 4 poop bag stations, and a hand washing station located outside of the park. The really bad news is that the park is locked, and you need to pay $25 (if you live in Pottstown, more if you don't) to get a key. The fact that it's locked means there are never any dogs there... Once there were two small dogs there, but they left soon after I arrived. Also, after a hard rain, one corner of the park is hopelessly swampy. There are TWO entrances. Why? I have no clue. The good news is that there is plenty of shade, something Reynolds can't offer. And because the gates are locked, it's never crowded. So, basically... better than nothing... but not really well thought out.
