Pet Friendly Stewart Beach Park
Stewart Beach Park Leash dogs are welcomes at the family- and dog-friendly Stewart Beach Park in Galveston, TX. The park features concessions, restrooms, showers, volleyball court and much more. BBQ pits are allowed. Umbrella and chair rentals available. No alcohol, glass, or open fires. Owners must clean up after pets. See Details
Pet Friendly East Beach
East Beach Leashed dogs are welcome on East Beach and all public beaches in Galveston, TX year round. Also known as R.A. Apffel Park, the East Beach is located at the far eastern tip of the island, and features a pavilion, boardwalk with stage, restrooms, concessions and other amenities. Unlike most of Galveston’s beaches, alcohol is permitted at East Beach. See Details

Padre Island National Seashore Padre Island National Seashore is pet friendly! Pets are welcome almost everywhere in the park as long as they are on a leash at all times. Leashed pets are permitted in all camping areas and on over 60 miles of beach in the park, including all areas where you can drive on the beach. The only areas where pets are NOT allowed includes: the deck of Malaquite Pavilion and its facilities, the boardwalk that goes from the deck down to the beach, and the short stretch of beach directly in front of the Pavilion (where the shade structures are located). But even there, pets and their owners can still access the beach using a pet access trail (photo above) that goes from the parking area down to the beach. This trail is located on the north (left) side of the Pavilion. Once you reach the beach, the area to the left is open to pets and their owners (the beach to the right is not).

Pet owners also have access to restrooms and rinse-off showers that are located close to the pet access trail, at the northern end of the Malaquite Pavilion parking area.

Padre Island National Seashore Padre Island National Seashore is a pet-friendly coastal island welcoming visitors to South Padre Island, TX. Fido is welcome in most areas of the park, with the exception of buildings, but must remain leashed. Explore over 60 miles of pristine beaches before settling in at one of the nearby campgrounds. Dogs must be kept under control to protect wildlife. While you visit Padre Island National Seashore, please pick up after your pet and never leave them unattended in your vehicle. Restrooms and rinse-off showers are located close to the pet access trail, at the northern end of the Malaquite Pavilion parking area. Please avoid taking Fido to the beach directly in front of the Pavilion as this is a designated swimming area for children and families. See Details
North Beach North Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Corpus Christi, TX. Fido is welcome to join in the beach fun while on a leash or under verbal command. There is a paved multiuse trail for all to enjoy. See Details
Magnolia Beach Magnolia Beach is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome on this 1.5 mile long hard-pack, drivable, sand/shell beach along Lavaca Bay in Port Lavaca, TX.
