Leashed dogs are allowed before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm on oceanfront beaches of Newport Beach, CA. On bay-front beaches, leashed dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. The person in control of the dog must have in his or her possession, an implement or device capable of removing any feces deposited by the animal. Please note dogs are not permitted on the piers.

Main Beach Park
Main Beach Park is pet-friendly. This gorgeous stretch of sand is located right in the middle of Laguna. It offers you and Fido the perfect getaway, with stunning views across the water. You'll find boardwalks, benches and picnic areas to hang out at together. Dogs are not permitted on the beach from 9am to 6pm from June 15 through Sept. 10. Dogs are allowed the rest of the year during park hours, as long as they are on leashes and all mess is cleaned up after them.
