East Hampton Main Beach Enjoy some beach frisbee or a casual stroll in the sand with your pup on the dog-friendly East Hampton Main Beach in New York throughout the year. Dogs are welcome off-leash anytime in the off-season. From May 15 through September 15, dogs are prohibited on the beach from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. At all other times during that time frame, dogs MUST be manually restrained on a leash within areas that are within 300 feet of any road end along the beaches.
