Pet Friendly Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades, CA
Dogs are allowed at Will Rogers State Historic Park, home to the ranch owned by the popular actor of the 1930s, Will Rogers. Unfortunately, at the height of his fame in 1935, Rogers was killed in a plane crash. Nearly a decade after his death, his wife donated the park to California State Parks. In addition to the 31-room ranch house, the grounds are also home to guest housing, a stable, corrals, riding ring, roping arena, polo field, golf course, and riding trails. Fido can join you at this historic park, but must remain on a six-feet leash for the duration of their stay. Although they aren't allowed in the neighboring Topanga State Parka, your pooch can join you on the Rivas Canyon Trail that leads to Temescal Gateway Park. The car park at Will Rogers State Historic Park is open from 8am to sunset. There is a fee for vehicles parked here.
