Pet Friendly Hobie Island Beach Park in Key Biscayne, FL
Hobie Beach is Miami-Dade County's only dog-friendly beach. This off-leash beach is a man-made pooch paradise. Your pooch can roam around the sand and dive into the water, but be careful of the windsurfers slaloming around the water. There are lots of places to park nearby and places to chill in the shade while your dog plays. The beach can be accessed from sunrise to sunset.
Pet Friendly Bark Beach at North Shore Open Space Park in Miami Beach, FL
Bark Beach at North Shore Open Space Park sits adjacent to the eight-block oceanfront natural area of North Shore Open Space Park (also pet-friendly for dogs on leashes) with jogging trails, exercise stations, and picnic pavilions. The adjoining North Shore is a charming neighborhood filled with tropical mid-century modern buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places - which provides a great place to dry off with an evening stroll after your swim. A great place to explore old Miami Beach the way if used to be (without the hustle and bustle of South Beach). There are also a few great restaurants nearby with pet-friendly outdoor seating - our favorite is Burgers and Shakes at Collins and 74th Street. Admission: $5 Residents / $25 Non-Residents - Annual Pass $20 for Residents. Proof of current vaccination required.
