Pet Friendly Alston Park
Alston Park This is a large nature preserve with an enclosed area for dogs to run free. The enclosed area has some agility equipment, lots of balls to throw, a large water pan with running water, and a double entry system to ensure the safety of all dogs going in or out. A large portion of the park is off leash for dogs under good voice control. Dog waste bags are freely provided, as are numerous cans to put the waste into. There also is another large portion of the park that is restricted to dogs on leash only, however, most people ignore the leash requirement. This is an awesome park to walk with your dogs! Cordelia Community Dog Park Very nice park with some nice landscapes. Large and small dog areas. The small dog area is level and mostly decomposed granite and concrete while the large dog area is on a slope with wood chip, concrete and drops created by landscape timbers where the slope is tiered. This area is known to be very breezy at times and cold with the winds arriving from the bay area so bring a jacket just in case. See Details
