Canoe & Trail Adventures Canoe & Trail Adventures is a pet-friendly water-based adventure company in Covington. For over 45 years, Canoe and Trail has guided thousands of people into Louisiana swamps and bayous surrounding New Orleans. They also offer "Twilight Paddle™and Moonlight Paddle™ series year round plus seasonal paddles and hikes around south Louisiana. Dogs are welcome to paddle and eat at Chimes, which is where the rentals depart from. If your dog weighs over 30 lbs, they recommend canoes over kayaks but you and your pooch are welcome to use either. Canoe & Trail Adventures is open Wednesday through Monday from 9am to 5pm.
