Pet Friendly Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles, CA
Runyon Canyon Park is a 160-acre city park near Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills. The park features a 90-acre off-leash dog park with an abundance of hiking trails. Although Fido does not need to be kept on a leash, owners must clean up after their pets. Baggie stations are located throughout the park.
Pet Friendly Mount Hollywood Trail in Los Angeles, CA
Mount Hollywood Trail is an easy, 3-mile hike in Griffith Park that will take about 1.5 hours to complete with Fido. This section of the mountain is owned by the city and offers what are quite possibly the best views of the Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles Basin. You will also enjoy the scenery as you look over at the San Gabriels or out to the ocean. Just make sure to keep Fido on a leash during the hike and clean up any pet messes. The trail can be accessed by parking at either the Griffith Observatory or at the Ferndell Trail in Los Feliz.
