Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail The Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail is a hiker's dream and heaven for dog walkers in PIneville, KY. When it is completed, this pet-friendly trail will span 120 miles from Breaks Inter­state Park to Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. An ecological treasure, it offers visitors 42 miles of pristine hiking trails that weave around the varied and beautiful scenery of Kentucky. Pine Mountain State Scenic Trail is also a link in the the Great Eastern Trail, also known as GET, stretching from Alabama to New York over 1,800 miles through nine states. Pet owners are reminded to keep their dogs on a leash under six feet and to preserve the cleanliness of the pathway by cleaning up any mess that their pooch makes along the way. See Details
Vastwood Park Take a walk with your pup around the gorgeous lake at the dog-friendly Vastwood Park in Hawesville, KY. This 1.1-mile loop is considered relatively easy, lasting about 22 minutes. Giles Conrad Park Leashed dogs are welcome at Giles Conrad Park, a recreation area on the banks of the Ohio River in Hebron, KY. Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park is 148-acre dog-friendly park in Mount Olivet, KY. There's lots to do in the area, including boating, bird spotting, wildflower viewing, and plenty of hiking opportunities with Fido. There are many trails to choose from including Buffalo Trace, a short trail that takes you on a tour of an ancient buffalo path, and Licking River Trail which is a route along the river.
