New Pet-Friendly Hotels: March 2024

March brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From the Hoosier State to the Centennial State, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Hotel Elkhart, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Housed in a 1920s-era historic building in the heart of downtown Elkhart, Hotel Elkhart, Tapestry Collection by Hilton offers boutique luxury for two- and four-legged visitors. Contemporary rooms are outfitted with colorful decor, sitting areas, work desks, mini refrigerators, HDTVs and free high-speed internet access. Dine in two on-site restaurants, exercise in the 24/7 fitness center and soak in picturesque views from the rooftop fire pit lounge.

Sample a variety of gastropub fare on the dog-friendly covered patio at nearby Brass Elk Brewing.

Margaritaville Hotel Nashville

Music City mutts looking to channel their inner Jimmy Buffett will be eager to kick up their paws at Margaritaville Hotel Nashville. Bright, beach-themed rooms and suites feature hardwood flooring, sleeper sofa living areas, writing desks, mini refrigerators and bathrooms with walk-in showers. Guests can shop for tropical clothing and souvenirs in the retail shop, work out in a state-of-the-art gym, and go for a swim in the rooftop swimming pool before grabbing a refreshing drink at the poolside bar. Dogs are also permitted on the patio at the on-site JWB Nashville Grill.

Located a few blocks away, Pups N Play Dog Park provides Fido with an enclosed grassy area to stretch his legs.

Margaritaville Hotel Nashville accepts pets up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per pet, per stay.

Julie's Park Cafe & Motel

Nestled near the shores of Lake Michigan, the dog-friendly Julie’s Park Cafe & Motel is the ideal basecamp for adventurous vacationers. Cozy, classic-style rooms contain separate living areas, mini refrigerators, flat-screen televisions and private bathrooms. Parking and WiFi are available free of charge, and Fido can join the breakfast and lunch crowd at the cafe’s outdoor tables, weather permitting.

Leashed pups are allowed to explore the White Cedar Nature Trail in the adjacent Peninsula State Park.

Julie's Park Cafe & Motel welcomes pets of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $15 per pet, per night.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach Resort

Furry beach bums are treated to fun in the sun at the brand new Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach Resort. Spacious suites are equipped with hardwood flooring, sleeper sofas, dining tables, wet bars with microwaves and mini refrigerators, and private balconies with gulf views. Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach Resort accepts a maximum of two pets up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 4 nights) and $125 (for longer stays).

The Louis Hotel

Named after a local resident’s late French Bulldog, The Louis Hotel provides boutique accommodations in a charming small town setting. Restored suites and cottages include hard surface floors, a living area with foldout sofas, full kitchens, and private bathrooms with soaking tubs and walk-in showers. The hotel offers a pair of on-site restaurants, a lobby bar, daily turn-down service and a pet-friendly rooftop terrace.

Leashed pups are welcome to browse the aisles and shelves at nearby White’s Mercantile.

The Louis Hotel accepts pets of any size for an additional fee of $150 per pet, per stay, plus a $150 refundable deposit.

Hilton Garden Inn Denver Thornton

Fifteen miles from downtown Denver, Hilton Garden Inn Denver Thornton supplies canine comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the Mile-High City. Settle into modern rooms featuring works desks, mini refrigerators and microwaves, complimentary WiFi, HDTVs and mountain views. Shop for supplies in the lobby market, grab dinner at the Italian steakhouse, hit the treadmill in the on-site gym and take a dip in the indoor pool/hot tub.

Located two miles from the hotel, pups can play off leash in the fully fenced Big Dry Creek Dog Park.
