Madison's Mountain Retreat

Madison's Mountain Retreat is a peaceful alpaca farmstay in self contained cottages with a generous breakfast hamper supplied. Relax in front of the log fire in each cabin, or in the indoor pool and heated spa. Alpacas, goats and chooks - animal feeding every day. Local restaurants and other activities such as fruit picking, National Parks and Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. Each cabin can sleep up to 5, and there are 10 available, so it is also suitable for group get togethers with 2 BBQs in a gazebo overlooking the dam and alpacas and common rooms.

Secret Garden Cottage

A charming 1930's, self contained 2 bedroom cottage features a fully fenced rear garden. The cottage has two bedrooms with either a king size bed or a queen side bed. They provide a Flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, off-street parking for 2 cars, and linens to visitors. This is a perfect accommodation for either a couple, group or family. Close to tourist attractions and easy walking distance to shops , supermarket, cafe's and train station. (10 minutes flat, easy walk to main street of town). Pets Welcome : Garden has 1.8 metre height timber fence and dog off leash park is just 100 metres down the road (Melrose Park) Dogs must be house trained and garden friendly. Weekend rate $380 (2 adults - 2 nights) peak season and midweek rate $$360 ( 2 adults - 2 nights). Please enquire about rate for extra persons/children.

Main Beach North Stradbroke Island

For ?back to basics? camping with your dog, there are fifteen designated camping areas at the southern end of Main Beach on North Stradbroke Island. Main Beach stretches for 32kms along the eastern side of the island, and offers great surfing and excellent beach fishing. This is a prime location for more experienced campers and 4WDrivers, and campsites are only accessible by 4WD. There are no amenities or drinking water at Main Beach.

The Groynes is a securely fenced park with a number of different areas including spring fed streams, trees and open spaces and three agility courses. A BBQ and picnic area is also within the park, although dogs must be leashed in this area. Car parking available.

Bottle Lake Forest Park

Dogs are welcome to enjoy the walking and biking trails through the beach and forest. Just keep them on a leash at all times and clean up after them.

Kep track
