Medicine Bow Trail - Routt National Forest

The Medicine Bow Trail - Routt National Forest is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Laramie! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Medicine Bow Trail - Routt National Forest. Atmosphere Mountainworks

Atmosphere Mountainworks is dog-friendly. Fido is welcome to join you while you peruse the aisles of outdoor wear and apparel. The shelves of the shop are stacked with their specialty: a variety of bags, including back packs, fanny packs, shoulder packs, duffels, and even yoga bags. Once you've finished shopping for yourself, you can take a look at the items that are offered for your pooch as well, such as the hi-viz yellow dog jackets, designed to keep Fido warm and visible on hikes. This store is open Sunday from 10am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday from 10am to 6pm, and Friday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm.

Cody Wyoming Adventures offers pet-friendly outdoor adventures. The Red River Canyon Trips provide whitewater adventure on the Shoshone river.
