Doggie Spring Egg Hunt Members of the MiDog Park are invited to this egg hunt for furry friends! Visit rare-mi.org to learn how to register your dog for the MiDog Park. Mid Michigan Pet Expo This annual event welcomes leashed dogs! Highlights include adoptable pets, thrilling K9 police demonstrations, exciting dock diving competitions, and the engaging barn hunt activity where dogs showcase their scent-detection skills. Alongside these attractions, the expo will host pet vendors offering products, services and educational resources for pet owners. The event hours are Friday from 2 PM until 7 PM, Saturday from 9 AM until 6 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM until 4 PM. See Details
Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny at Laurel Park Place On select Mondays, bring Fido for a professional photo with the Easter Bunny! Visits are free, with photo packages available for purchase. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are recommended. The Bunny can be found near Von Maur. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Pets aren't permitted in any area of the mall other than the designated Easter Bunny photo area. See Details

5k Beer Run x Brown Iron Run, jog or just take a stroll with your canine friend at this 5K and half marathon event! Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a craft brew from Brown Iron Brewhouse, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet door prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games, goodies and giveaways. Fast & Furriest 5K Run/Walk This chip-timed event, open to participants and their furry companions, is expected to draw over 300 people across Michigan. Michigan Humane TAILGATE! Run. Walk. Adopt A fundraising run/walk that features a 5K wave that allows dogs, and a 1-mile "Mutt March" walk where attendees may bring leashed dogs. Pet Rescue Run/Walk 5K Bring Fido and join in for a timed trail run/walk along scenic grass and dirt paths, rain or shine, as participants unite to honor a loved one’s passion for animals. Frankenmuth Dog Bowl The world's largest Olympic-style festival for dogs features lots of high-energy activities for the pups like running, jumping, diving and retrieving! The Dog Bowl includes events you can watch and events that Fido can compete in. Activities include dock and disc dog competitions, sheep herding demonstrations, wiener dog races, a pet costume parade, and so much more. Annual Canine Cruise on the Cass River All aboard the Bavarian Belle for a 45-minute cruise narrated with Frankenmuth history and featuring fun photo ops with your pup. Proceeds benefit Frankenmuth Dog Bowl Inc., a nonprofit promoting responsible pet ownership. Limited to 75 participants per session, tickets allow one dog per person, and no refunds are available. Gears in Bloom Steampunk Festival Leashed dogs are welcome outside at this steampunk celebration where Victorian-inspired futurism meets modern creativity. Radar Hill Hiking Club Tails n’ Trails Dog Park A community-led, dog-friendly walk hosted by the Radar Hill Hiking Club that meets explores trails around the Saugatuck/Douglas area. Participants are asked to keep dogs leashed and to follow trail stewardship guidance. See Details
Mackinac Island Lilac Festival This historic festival features a wide range of events including, contests, a 10K run and walk, guided lilac tours, live music, family-friendly activities, and the iconic Grand Parade with horse-drawn floats along Main Street. Events are held across the island all week long, and many outdoor activities welcome dogs. Just be sure to check ahead before bringing entering an activity with Fido. See Details
Grand Explorers' Trail Race Dogs are welcome to join you on the mostly flat 5K race or enjoy the additional challenge of some hilly terrain along the 10K course. Four-legged participants must be on a six-foot leash at all times and be comfortable around children and other dogs. The start/finish area is at Grand River County Park, not Grand Ravines North or South. See Details
