Hillcrest Dog Park is located on the northeast side of Grand Rapids and offers separately fenced areas for small and large dogs, benches, shaded areas, water station (seasonal), and bags for cleanup.

Norman F Kruse Park

There is a dog beach at the Northern end of the park. Dogs must be leashed in the sand, but are allowed off-leash in the water. The dog-friendly area is clearly marked, so pay close attention to the signs to avoid being ticketed.

Stony Creek Metropark

Fido will love the chance to join you on-leash at this popular park. Stony Creek Metropark features more than twenty-seven miles of hiking through thick woodlands, fields, and wetlands. Pets are not allowed at Baypoint Beach, Eastwood Beach or north of the Stony Creek River in the Nature Center Area. Admission is $10 per vehicle. Stony Creek Metropark is open daily from 6am to 10pm.

Mall at Partridge Creek

The Partridge Creek outdoor shopping mall welcomes dogs and provides four dog comfort stations on site. They even have dog sculptures!

Pictured Rocks Boat Tour

Even though dogs are not allowed on the boat cruise, Pictured Rocks Cruises offers free climate controlled kennels for your dogs. Their website indicates: "Pets are not allowed on board our cruises. We do, however, offer complimentary kennels on-site for the duration of the cruise, which have been recently renovated and are now climate controlled. The kennels are equipped with sliding locks, but you are welcome to bring your own lock or purchase a lock on site for additional security. Take a look at our kennels here. In accordance with the American’s With Disabilities Act we allow service-animals aboard our boats. If assistance is needed in boarding the vessel, please contact us 72 hours in advance."
