White Swan Inn B & B

White Swan Inn B & B allows two pets of any size in the Swan Cottage with a $100 refundable pet fee.

Hip Beach Cabin in Woods

Pets are allowed with prior approval from the homeowner only. Please inquire for information on pet fee and other restrictions.

Lake Michigan At Manistee Campground

Dogs are allowed at Lake Michigan At Manistee Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (231) 723-0141.

Hillcrest Dog Park is located on the northeast side of Grand Rapids and offers separately fenced areas for small and large dogs, benches, shaded areas, water station (seasonal), and bags for cleanup.

Norman F Kruse Park

There is a dog beach at the Northern end of the park. Dogs must be leashed in the sand, but are allowed off-leash in the water. The dog-friendly area is clearly marked, so pay close attention to the signs to avoid being ticketed.

Orion Oaks Dog Park

Your dog will thank you for a trip to this fenced, 14-acre off-leash dog park, which includes a separate small dog area, drinking water, and even designated doggie swim areas.

Mall at Partridge Creek

The Partridge Creek outdoor shopping mall welcomes dogs and provides four dog comfort stations on site. They even have dog sculptures!

Colonial Michilimackinac

While spending the day on Mackinac Island with your pup, be sure to visit Colonial Michilimackinac. Explore the historic 18th-century fort and fur trading village, shop in the museum shop, and experience life as it was in the 1700s. Leashed dogs are welcome at this historic site.

Mackinac Island

Dogs are welcome to join you on the ferry to Mackinac Island. There are no cars on the island -- horse and buggy rides, bikes, and your own two feet (or four paws) are the only way around. There are many nice trails and outdoor restaurants throughout the island to enjoy with Fido.

Sit Stay Swim allows you to swim, walk and bathe your dog in their 4-foot deep heated pool. Play, walk or train in their walking area or go in and give your dog a bath. Especially beneficial for dogs who are overweight, suffering with arthritis, getting older or less active, losing mobility, disabled, in pain, cooped up indoors all day, recovering from surgery or an injury, or just a puppy with lots of energy!
