Their wish list includes items like treats as well as interactive toys to keep pups occupied and crates for transporting animals to and from the shelter. Best Friends Animal Society
Located in Kanab, Utah’s scenic Angel Canyon, Best Friends Animal Society is a place we’re truly “mutts” about. The society is home to about 1,600 rescued dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and farm animals on any given day. Visitors to the area are welcome to tour the sanctuary, volunteer, or take a shelter animal out for an adventure during a stay at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The society is also home to the Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile, a 40-room property where you can stay with a shelter pet while you volunteer. The rescue has expanded over the years to include centers and programs across the U.S. If you’re unable to volunteer you can still help make the holidays special for animals in need by purchasing items from the wish list of any Best Friends location and have it shipped to the shelter you choose.

Humane Society of El Paso

In 2021, the rescue sheltered over 2,000 animals and placed over 1,200 into foster homes, which is a vital part of animal rescue. Fostering helps to create room within the shelter so that more animals can be cared for. The humane society provides fosters with all the essential supplies for caring for an animal, but they need the public’s help to acquire those necessities. You can help by purchasing some of the most needed items from the humane society’s wish list including toys, training pads and cots which can be shipped directly to the shelter or dropped off during business hours.
