Happy Tail Wine Trail 5k

Bring Fido along for a fun 1-mile Dog Jog, where you can jog or walk with your furry friend, provided they're current on vaccinations and physically able to. Each human participant will receive a glass of wine, finisher’s medal, and an event shirt.

BorOlympic Bark Bash

Participants can sign up for one of two training sessions, during which owners and Fido can learn tips and tricks. Four-legged friends can show off their new skills on the agility course, where they can compete for the Ultimate Puppy Prize Pack, which includes toys and treats, as well as a $50 gift card to their human's favorite Boro restaurant! Other event amenities include treats for pets and owners, a kid crafts area, and a live tag engraving for the first 100 guests.

FURever Homes Race

Support local homeless pets in need at this Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix event for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Leashed dogs are welcome at Vendor Village and can participate in the 5k and 1-mile Fun Run. All courses use the grounds of Jamestown High School, sections of Powhatan, Greenspring’s, and Capital Trail. There will be community vendors, music, food, raffles and more! Registration includes a t-shirt, participant medal, drink voucher, one raffle ticket, and race packet. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations to attend. Non-retractable leashes only.

Fido will have a blast running around off leash in their dog parks, showing off his skills in doggy competitions, and getting his picture taken at the photo booths. There will be delicious food and drinks for humans, a special dog menu for your pup, plus 40+ beer & cider samples from local breweries to choose from, and a variety of outdoor games and activities for the whole family. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed when not in the dog parks.

Bring Fido and the family out to run or walk this pet-focused 5K! Fido is welcome in either race, but all dogs must be up to date on vacations and be on a non-retractable leash. Dog waste stations will be provided along the course. Proceeds help place highly trained service dogs free of charge to those in need, as well as food and veterinary care.

5k Beer Run x Dynasty Brewing

Run, jog or just take a stroll with your canine friend at this 5K event! Register online in advance and check in before the race. Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a free craft beer from Dynasty Brewing, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet door prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games, goodies and giveaways. Pups must remain leashed. After the race you and your pup can hang out on the pet-friendly patio at Dynasty Brewing.
