I will fly oversea with my Malamute in 12 days SUGGESTION

Hi all!
I will fly with my Alaskan Malamute as "hold" (cargo, not cabin!). And I'm a little bit scary about possible injurie that he can provide his self..by chewing the crate from inside..(hole or gate) He is comfortable with his crate but he doesn't want to stay alone at home in it. I'll try to exercize him a lot during the week end before the flight..maybe doing scootering and running! Any suggestion?
Thank you...
Claudia

You should have not proble at all. My who just retired from the Military has a Labarador, He has flown from Cleveland, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Honolulu,HI(Which required a 30 day quarantine) to Seattle, WA. then to Jacksonville, Fla and not one problem.
We have traveled with a Chichilla which requires to be put the cargo hold and we neer had problems with.
We also travel with two small dogs in the cabin and we've never had problems.
Make sure you have a form filled out by your Vet 10 days prior to travel. This is for his health and rabies and distemper.
I hope this might help ease your ming about travel

By the way ask the Vet if it is OK to give him a little benadryl before you check him in. This always keeps our pets calm.
