Flying With Dogs Dog Travel Forum

I write this as I wait in Denver International Airport for a connecting flight to Minneapolis, WITHOUT my dog. She is now sitting with my mom back in Steamboat Springs, CO. One month ago my dog an I flew with relatively little mishap from MSP to Steamboat with a connecting flight in DEN. I made reservations for her for ROUNDTRIP 6 weeks ago, the return flight was today. I arrived at Hayden International Airport this morning, only to be told she could not board with me, because last weekend United merged with Continental and Continental doesn't take dogs, so they didn't know what to do. Now my Mom is flying out with her on a different airline in April.
