Travelling tips for dogs

It’s a wonderful feeling that you get while you travel with your dog. Nowadays even more and more people prefer travelling with their pets than ever before. Taking your dog or cat on a vacation trip with you could be a wonderful experience. As a matter of fact it can be really fun to travel with your dog on business trips, home or holidays or even for site seeing.

Here are few dog tips that will eventually help you to make your adventure safe, fun and rewarding: -

Make your travel destination dog proof by planning ahead: - Before visiting the place do your research that whether the place that you will be visiting is prepared for your pet? As not all the hotels accept pets, so call ahead well in advance and make sure that your dogs are welcome in hotel along with you. Make sure that there are no dangerous or sharp objects at the place and your pet’s destination is 100% dog free, ensure that your dog is welcomed into a safe and prepared environment.

Do proper packaging for your dog’s trip, make a list and check it twice: - You would never like to arrive at your guest’s house only to find it later that you have forgot the dog food! So better make a list of all items in advance days before your travel date. Gather the items ahead of time in order to make sure that you have got everything as per the requirement. Our pet’s essential items include: Dog Anti Shock Leash, Dog Collar And Leash *Blue Coloured*, Pet Shampoo For Brightning, NEGASUNT POWDER 20 GM, CHICKEN TREATS 150 GM, GOTBAC POWDER 40GM and many more.

Keep the dog tags up to date for identification purposes: - Your pet would require a dog collar and dog ID for safety. In case you have moved recently simply double check your pet’s dog ID tags. Make sure that the information is up to date. If your number has changed order a new dog tag at the earliest.

Dog travelling by car- crates, barriers and more: - If you are travelling with your pooch by your car, it s very important to keep them comfortable and yet contained. Smaller pets can easily be confined in a large sized dog carrier. For big dogs use a large dog travel crate. In case your car is not big enough for a crate consider using a vehicle pet barrier to keep your dog safely in the back along with a dog car safety harness.

A word of caution never leave your pet unattended in the car as car temperatures can rise dramatically inside automobiles and dogs are very much sensitive to it.

A must for air travelling is airlines approved with dog carriers: - Not all dog carriers are approved for air travel, and different airlines have different regulation on dog travel. And if your pet is small and can fit comfortably into an airline approved dog carrier, this is a perfect option.

Keep it fun by spending quality play time with your dog: - Carry your dog’s favorite dog toys and his/her favorite dog treats. Reward your dog frequently and keep praising him for good behavior throughout the vacation trip. Find a safe dog park to play in.

With little amount of preparation, common sense and an upbeat attitude travelling with your dog can be a lot more funnier, safe and rewarding adventure for all.
