Reviews
- KrisApr 2, 2024Too Many Issues
The room was large and clean enough. The location is definitely for those just “passing through” Vegas; business park area and not a lot of food options. The desk clerk did suggest the pub across the street that accepts dogs, and that was pretty good. Next to no green spots. And too many issues that did not seem to warrant attention (or we didn’t mention.)
Back door to hotel did not lock, nor the card reader work. I suspect locals were coming through in the morning for the free breakfast. Staff not concerned about the door. TV did not work until staff fixed. Lighting switch controlled all lights - either on or off. Guests smoking pot down the hall, but staff said it’s too hard to knock on all doors to find out who it is (I requested another floor but was told it was full). And, no hot water in the morning! Staff refunded us a small amount ($40) and we got out of there.
- CarlaSep 9, 2023Pretty Nice Stay
Enjoyed our stay. Pet rooms are on the first floor for convenience. Roomy walk-in shower. Bed had seen better days but was comfortable enough. A couple stains on the carpet (one in room and a large one in the hallway), but otherwise it appeared very clean. Breakfast was decent. Only a couple gluten free options, but seemed to have good choices in non-GF foods. No vending machines that I could locate. Would stay again.
- Doug & JuanitaAug 23, 2023Not very clean
Staff was friendly during check-in. The area was close to a dog park. Happy with the location of hotel. Disappointed that the carpets in the hallways were filthy. The room smelled really bad, I think previous dog messes were made and they sprayed air freshener to hide the odor, but still very strong.
- JeremyAug 20, 2023Dilapidated
Dirty, stinky carpets; broken elevator; desk lamp without light bulbs.
- DovaAug 15, 2023Mediocre at best
No lock on back door. Hallway carpets really stained. Actual room quite clean with good shower, but, rundown, rusty under sink, and walls with pieces gouged out. Accommodated our German Shepherd without issue. Small grassy areas around hotel; I walked our dog on the pebbly island some distance away. Good breakfast and tea/coffee/water available all the time. Staff adequate. Bed was among the worst in which I have ever slept.
- CleaJul 17, 2023Nice and clean room
This room worked for me and my dog, but very little areas for the dog to walk.
- DarleneMay 12, 2023Great place
Clean, friendly staff, good places to walk the dogs, good location.
- MichaelMay 11, 2023Not the best choice
One of two elevators not working, hotel back door lock broken and unsecured, and no forks (!) for complimentary breakfast one day. Luggage trolly not large enough to easily accommodate a large dog travel carrier. As this was my first trip with a large dog, I will now only book hotels on the ground floor with direct outside access. Lesson learned.
- EmilyApr 30, 2023Good location and stay
Bed was comfortable and room clean. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear a lot but it wasn’t a rowdy hotel. Breakfast was the usual hotel continental, but you need to go early otherwise it will be very picked over. We will definitely stay here again.
- JoApr 7, 2023Clean Hotel
Hotel was fine and had a low dog fee. Breakfast was awful.
- SteveJan 8, 2023A great pet-friendly hotel
Beautiful hotel, clean carpet for our fidos, and excellent service.
- HaleyJan 4, 2023Pet friendly
Away from busy city so my pup didn’t get stressed hearing crazy sounds of Vegas on NYE. Friendly staff.
- BretDec 29, 2022Huge room
Giant room, firm bed, great breakfast, friendly staff. They were slammed with business but still managed to show good hospitality.
- MollyNov 24, 2022Very welcoming
This place was so welcoming and comfortable for our dog. The concierge wanted to meet him and was obviously a dog person. Very kind. They even gave us a room right by the first floor door to the parking lot for easy access potty breaks. I’d definitely bring my dog here again!
- RobertOct 28, 2022Dog approved
All the information said the dog fee was $20 for two dogs (very reasonable) but the clerk wanted to charge $20 per dog. When I said my reservation provided for $20 per room, they changed the charge to $20. Room is large and there are grassy areas around the dog poop location on the back side of the building. There was some freeway noise and plumbing issues with the room. Would stay there again.
- MichaelSep 7, 2022Dog friendly
Lots of dogs and very quiet. Good stay.
- HilaryAug 16, 2022Not terrible
The room was kinda funky and it definitely smells like a spot that allows animals. For the most part it was good getting around other dogs and was quiet. I will definitely stay at another LA Quinta just not this one. The location is far from everything and is difficult to find. But overall could have been cheaper and worked for what we needed.
- DavidApr 13, 2022Viva Las Vegas
Nice clean room. Not much space for dog, but nice dog park lees than 2 miles down the road.
- DaniellemarieApr 10, 2022Very Clean & Welcoming
After a loooooong day & I mean, drawn out, exhaustingly, long day, arriving to a clean hotel & welcoming staff member is delightful.
- ThomasMar 29, 2022Walk around the Health Complex
Nice, spacious room with lots of room for the crate and our big dog (and us!). We had an Accessible room -- didn't need it, just what they gave us. Reasonably clean, no rug on floor. Highlight for me was a beautifully landscaped 1/2 mile walk around the nearby health complex. Lowlight was that the poop bag dispenser was empty and so many inconsiderate owners just left the crap where it lay. I carry my own bags and picked up a half-dozen piles, a drop out of the ocean!
- WilliamMar 21, 2022Good location
Spacious room, clean. Front desk lady was very helpful and friendly.
- PatsyDec 22, 2021Great location
Room was large and easily accommodated both the dog bed and our cat's litter box.
- AprilDec 22, 2021Nice hotel
They were very nice and respectful. The hotel was clean and inviting.
- MaryNov 29, 2021Good location
The hotel was in a good location from our family we came to visit. We were given a room on the 5th floor, which was not ideal with a dog. The room was a handicapped room and did not have a vanity in the bathroom which made it difficult to put anything down.
- PatriciaNov 2, 2021Enjoyed our stay!
Very comfortable bed and extremely dog-friendly staff. What more do you need for a one-night stay?
- ChristineSep 26, 2021Totally what we needed!
One-night stopover, this place was perfect. Not a lot of dog walking area, but enough and there's a nice big dog park nearby. Right off the 95 highway, so easy in, easy out. Rooms were spacious with laminate floors and clean. Nice fitness room and pool too!
- DorothyAug 24, 2021Friendly staff
Room was perfect (really appreciate flooring vs carpet in pet-friendly rooms). There were a few grassy areas around for pet use. Clean. Amazing vegan restaurant down the street (Daikon Sushi- all plant based deliciousness).
- CarrieAug 24, 2021Large rooms
The pups & I had a nice stay here. Pet relief areas were easily accessible. The room was large & easy to get around with 2 dogs. Staff was friendly. The restaurant across the street allows dogs on the patio.
- KatieAug 5, 2021Dog friendly
Wonderful sized rooms. Again, like all my reviews, not enough greenery for actual walking of your dogs.
- JohnJul 19, 2021Little hard to find tucked in the back
Very friendly.
- CareyJul 12, 2021Needs Work
This property was having several maintenance issues. 1st floor hallway had buckets on the floor and water dripping. Our room was fine as far a sleeping, but the bath really needed help everything pretty banged up and the tub either needs reglazing or a good scrubbing I couldn't decide which so didn't use it. They do have a small grass are for dogs with bags provided. That said, the back door near that area was not working so to get back into the building you need to walk around to the front. Not good on cement or asphalt for a dog in 110°+ temperatures. The morning continental breakfast was decent (small portions of pre-packaged yogurt, muffins & juice)
- SenecaJul 7, 2021Comfortable and spacious
Great spot for a stopover heading up north just outside Vegas proper. Not a lot of space tho for doggie relaxation (tiny patch of grass front and back) and pavement super hot in the summer. Would like a little more area to let pups walk, relieve themselves. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating.
- SusieJun 16, 2021Great location, spacious rooms
Great place to stay with our dog. It was nice having the kitchenette for feeding our girl and the water was usable too. Also a great, quiet location. Not a lot of area to walk the dog, but there are parks nearby. Wonderful staff, clean room... happy dog!
- JenniferMay 15, 2021Disgusting
This place was dirty and disgusting. The handle to the door was an issue too. After seeing the room, I went to the front desk and got my money back. The only reason I gave it one bone was because the girl at the front desk was friendly.
- KarolynMay 10, 2021Clean and friendly
Hotel was very clean, easy to navigate. Staff were extremely friendly. Doggie area could have been cleaner. Sad that people don’t pick up, even tho the hotel provides plastic bags.
- JenApr 27, 2021It was good
Good
- LaurenMar 17, 2021Wonderful
Wonderful
- CaroleJan 17, 2021Okay
The stay was okay but seemed like people were walking up and down all night and the laminate floor was filthy. We're staying there again but if I had options it wouldn't be my first choice.
- RitaJan 13, 2021Quiet and comfortable
Our stay here worked out well. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. This was only my 2nd stay at a dog-friendly hotel, and my main concern was that there were a LOT of dog droppings all over the areas outside where I walked my dog. I found just one small area of grass that seemed to get cleaned up, but otherwise I had to watch my step. There were bags available to use, but apparently the majority of owners are inconsiderate and don’t use them, thus creating a disgusting and unsanitary situation. This was the case at both of the hotels I stayed in.
- KellyApr 7, 2020Fabulous Experience!!
The property was beautiful and perfect for pets. The hotel front desk staff couldn't have been more wonderful!!! I was moving from CO to NV and they let me check out way late due to delays with my movers. Couldn't be happier with either the hotel or the staff - thank you soooo much!!
- HolliMar 3, 2020Spacious room!
The hotel appeared to be relatively new, the location was close to many restaurants, markets, gas stations, and entrance to highway nearby, check-in and check-out were handled expeditiously and in a friendly manner, the room was surprisingly pleasant resembling a spacious, modern studio apartment that included all typical hotel accoutrements, the breakfast buffet was clean, well-stocked, and services by a very nice attendant, outdoor spaces for pet relief were clean and offered litter bags and a garbage can nearby, luggage carts available; great stay!
- DDec 22, 2019Good hotel for got dog owners
Plenty of areas around the hotel, and neighboring properties, for your dog to do their business. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- RobinNov 29, 2019Over All Great Hotel
The rooms were great. It was easy to get the puppy outside the first floor. The breakfast was great. Several restaurants close Like Aces and Ale.
- MargaretNov 17, 2019Great hospitality
- KathyOct 12, 2019Awesome pet friendly accommodations
