Mental Fortitude.

This photo was taken at Charisma Clothing Boutique in St. Michaels, MD. Meet Bagunda (pronounced Ba-goon-da) aka…Goon and lovingly referred to as Goony. He was rescued from Iraq and his veteran poppa uses his tripedalism as an advantage. He spreads a plethora of awareness to civilians about the Patriotic Pet Program. Getting some ‘paw-sitive’ attention for the rescue efforts in Baghdad. Their mission involved finding strays, abandoned animals, particularly dogs who were then befriended by military personnel stationed in Iraq. Animals were reunited with soldiers once they returned home to the US. Although, Goony has adapted very well, he still suffers from anxiety when encountering elderly people, who walk with the aid of a cane. We can’t imagine what life in the streets must’ve been like. The Charisma crew was in absolute awe of him.❤️‍🩹🐾🇺🇸
