The number of in-cabin or checked pets may be restricted or refused entry depending on the type of aircraft and route. Contact the Customer Service Team at (800) 227-4262 as soon as you confirm your travel plans to secure a place for Fido.

Small dogs, cats, and household birds can be transported in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 15 lbs (7 kg). Pets should remain inside a carrier for the duration of the journey. Each passenger can bring one pet per carrier, unless they have two puppies under six months, two kittens under six months, a mother and a baby pet, or a pair of birds who can travel together. Carriers must remain under the seat for the duration of the flight. The fee for this service ranges from $22 for domestic flights within Korea to $290 on international flights.

Pets who exceed the weight restrictions to travel in the cabin may be transported as checked baggage instead. The maximum weight including carrier is 99 lbs (45kg). The fee for this service ranges from $22 for domestic flights within Korea to $590 on international flights.

For pets traveling in the cabin, the maximum combined dimensions of carriers cannot exceed 45" (115 cm). Soft carriers can be up to 10" (26 cm) in height. For pets traveling as checked baggage, the sum of three sides of the carrier cannot exceed 112" (285 cm), and a height of 33" (84 cm).

The following breeds and their cross-breeds are not allowed to travel: American Staffordshire Terrier, American pit bull(Terrier), Fila Brazileiros, Japanese Tosa, Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentinos. Additionally, the transportation of short-nosed dogs as checked baggage is restricted from July 1 to September 30. The breeds of dogs that are restricted are: Pugs, Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, Affenpinscher, American Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Cavalier King, Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Chowchow, Cane Corso, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Mastiff, English Toy Spaniel, French Bulldog, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pekingese, Presa Canario, Pug, Sharpei, Shih Tzu, Tibetan Spaniel, and Valley Bulldog.
