A maximum of 2 animals in the cabin and 4 animals as checked baggage are permitted on board with Tailwind Airlines.

Pets can be transported in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 13 lbs (6 kg). Animals must be healthy, harmless, clean, and not too smelly. There is no fee for animals being transported in the cabin.

Pets may be accepted as checked baggage with Tailwind. 1 pet is permitted to travel on each flight, but exceptions can be made for passengers traveling with multiple animals. There is no additional fee for pets being transported in the hold if they weigh under 25 lbs (11 kg). Pets who exceed this limit may be charged an excess baggage fee.

For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 21" x 16" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm).

Animals who are deemed to be too anxious or aggressive may be refused entry on board.
