Needs work

The sign out front says all new rooms. They are not, at least not as of 3/28. Checked in around 4:30pm. Carpet was being replaced in the room above us until 6. The carpet in our room was filthy. Light cover was missing over the ceiling fixture giving the room a seedy feel. The single outlet next to the bed had a unbreakered 6 outlet multiple plug attached to it, but it didn't work and had to run the cord for my CPAP from the plug near the door. The mattress was extremely soft, felt like it was filled with pudding. The grounds were littered with trash and thought the porcelain in the tub was badly chipped, until the spot crawled away.

The only breakfast choices were sugar or sugar. The only issue I addressed with the staff was the outlet and it was documented. The staff was very friendly and perhaps when they complete their refurbishment things will improve. When we road trip we expect to get what we pay for and when we go cheap, we really don't expect much. It is in that vain that I write this review. Just want to give our fellow travelers a heads up on what to expect. We went in expecting a warm dry place to rest and that's what we got. Wishing them well.
