Nasty pool

The hotel on the outside was okay, when we were going up to the room the side door key access was broken the door opened straight up. Now this hotel smelt like cigarettes bad. We were up on the third floor we took the stairs. When we got to our room the room next to us had trash outside of the front and that room also was cracked open the key access looked like it had been chopped off and someone broke in, we were nervous to know the situation.

We went into our room and my other half went back down to the front desk and they said oh we are remodeling and that room is in the process. There were no signs saying construction or anything. That was fine we went in about with ourselves. In the morning we woke up and took the babies outside to go potty we were walking around the building and I got a scent of something terrible as we walked around the corner where the pool is. I instantly started gagging and almost puked. I have a really strong stomach I usually can handle smells.

That pool was a quarter filled with moldy, stinky water that had been there for a very long time just sitting. I was ready to get out of there after that. There was a sign on the pool that said closed. Obviously why would they leave water in there like that. They could use some cleaning up for sure. I’ve stayed in some crazy places but this one has to be number one for nastiest places I’ve stayed. And going to a Motel 6 I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant at all. We stayed 5 hours, paid $160 and took off as fast as we could.
