Nice hotel experience
The Park Hotel LondonWe enjoyed our suite and the hotel. The area restaurants not very pet friendly .
Nice Overnight Stay
Drury Inn & Suites Poplar BluffThis is a newer Drury Inn. Carpeted room (yeah, I don't like the LQ's with LVP flooring), comfy beds, and quiet. Full hot made to order breakfast and their evening meal is back. Large luggage carts, there is a pet fee but worth it.
Good Choice for Casual Outdoor bbq
Whole Hog Cafewe alway like finding new places to dine with our Golden Retriever. We were the only outdoor diners - area is shaded by trees, umbrellas and an awning. Its a bit rustic outside and beer choice was limited but good food and a decent price.
Friendly Staff
The Jalapeno Treein a day and age where restaurant staffs ignore or don't care - it was the opposite. We brought our Golden to this location of the Jalapeno tree for a quick dinner and beer. Staff was warm and welcoming. Outdoor tables are in the covered porch area but near the noisy highway. Access to porch available from the parking lot. Recommend when traveling in area with your dog.
