Room smelled like a kennel

Front desk staff and other staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, the room wasn't great. Bed was fairly hard, very thin blanket, tub floor was peeling, and there were multiple hairs around that made me question the cleanliness. My biggest issue is the room smelled like a kennel (urine smell unsuccessfully masked by deodorizer), and you can't open the windows to air it out. There were multiple stains on the carpet (hint: don't use carpet in pet-friendly rooms!) that I'm guessing are urine stains. There isn't a lot of green space for pottying on the premises, but there are little greenways next to hotel that work. I appreciate they offer pet-friendly rooms, but wish they'd maintain them better.
