No Pot of Gold!
Rainbows End Fishing ResortThe owner’s of this resort have dogs and allow them to roam UNLEASHED. During our last night there while walking from our vehicle to our cabin one of their dogs (a husky) attacked our beagle who was on a leash. Luckily my husband was able to break up the fight and neither our dog, the owner’s dog or my husband was injured, but this could have been very bad. I WILL NOT recommend this resort as pet friendly or even pet safe. The dogs were with the owners and I believe their grandchildren. Other than yelling at the dog they made no attempt to get their dog away from ours. They did apologize several times, but it should never have happened. We told them their dogs should have been leashed.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel FlagstaffGreat place to stay. Lots of grassy areas to walk your dog. Great location to other restaurants and businesses. Very quiet. We did not order from the restaurant to give any feedback on that. Rooms are very nice.

Best Western Plus Grant Creek InnGreat location and great place to take a dog walking. Lots of grassy areas. Staff was extremely polite. There is a nice restaurant within walking distance to grab a bite to eat or take back to your room. We have stayed here twice.

Best Western Edgewater ResortThis place is right on the lake. The room had a sliding glass door going right out onto a huge grass lawn and down to the water’s edge. Lots of places to walk dogs. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has very good food. The room was clean but outdated.

BEST HOTEL EVER!!
Best Western Lodge at River's EdgeThis hotel is in a beautiful location, the hotel itself is beautiful. it’s either a new hotel or newly updated inside and out. We had a room on the ground floor with a view of the river. it was gorgeous. In the room was a huge dog bed, food and water bowls and 2 treats for our pup! It was so nice. There isn’t much grass around or areas outside for your dog, but we managed fine. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Staff was also very nice as was the free breakfast.

Great Stop and Restaurant
Rock Springs CaféThis restaurant actually allowed us to take our beagle inside! it was very hot out on the patio. They put us in a booth toward the back, brought our dog water and couldn’t have been nicer! They have great food, an interesting gift shop and an amazing pie bakery. Their pies are shipped all over the country. Don’t pass this place by if you have time to stop even if you’re not hungry!

Great Food Great Patio
The Northern Pines Restaurantthis place is right off I40. easy to get to. great patio with water for the dogs. friendly staff. great good!! we had the Cobb salad and Northern Pines Burger and fries. would definitely go there again!!!
