Dogs Bark

On night one, Our across the hall neighbor had a dog as well. While I was out to dinner the dogs exchanged some barks as they were excited to be around each other, causing a noise complaint. Because of this we could not leave the dog in the hotel room alone (per the rules) this caused us to have to change all dining and festivities to accommodate a dog. We have lived in apartments for two years now and have never had a complaint about our dog barking at times. It would have been cheaper to leave our snuggle monster at home with a pet sitter. We have traveled with her plenty visiting houses and this is turning me off pet friendly hotels.
