Best in SLO County
Jody Giannini Family Dog ParkThis is the best true dog park I’ve found during my trip to the central coast. The other parks I’ve been to are either not fully fenced, or covered in tan bark.
The reason I didn’t give it a full five bones is because the shape is a bit awkward and it was quite muddy.
Doggie Heaven
Olde Port BeachMy dog would live here if she could. The stairs and ramp give easy access to the road, which made me a little nervous. If your dog is trustworthy and/or has excellent voice recall, you’ll love it here.
Uber Dog Friendly!
Eberle WineryThis place is wonderful. The property is lovely. Dogs are allowed in the tasting room, on the deck, and even on the cave tour. There’s a nice grassy rest area stocked with bags for your convenience.
The service was super friendly and everyone loved seeing the dogs. There are even resident poodles on the property. If you only have time to visit one winery with your furry friend - look no further!
Not Fully Fenced
Laguna Lake Dog Off-Leash ParkIt’s a lovely space, but not fully fenced. There’s literally just a sign that reads “dogs must be on leash beyond this point”. My dog can’t read, so we left.
