Hampton Inn by Hilton Richmond-North/AshlandIt is delightful to travel with our 12 lb pup and refreshing to have a clean & fresh accommodation. Everything was great! Staff was very pleasant. One bone of contention is the $50 fee for my non-shed pup to stay one night! Still it is nice to know a clean fresh room awaits!

Holiday Inn Greenville an IHG HotelThe room was great. A lot of space! A king bed and sofa. Sheets were fresh and bright white. Only disappointment is the bed was very hard. This was uncomfortable for me while it may be fine for other people. One issue was the hotel is spread out on one floor and our doggy room was at the very end of the hallway quite a distance to the nearest exit. This seems not to be the most convenient to need to take your dog outside to the bathroom. This does seem to be the normal for pet friendly hotels. My other issue is the payment for bringing my dog for one night. My dog is 12# no shed and paying $75 for one night seems extreme.
