Clean, quiet, pet friendly
My Place Hotel-Portland East OrThe hotel was right off the interstate, which was convenient for me, near fast food, and had a big area for dogs to relieve themselves.

Great for the money
Motel 6 Bend OrRoom was clean and in good repair. Bathroom fixtures could use an update. Small grass area for dogs with poop bags. Quiet.

Large dog area!
Motel 6 Meridian ID - Boise WThe rooms was nice, clean, and comfortable. It was quiet, and the dog area is the biggest I've seen at a motel, with grass and trees! Motel 6 is not the Ritz, but it was clean and comfy for the price!

Really nice room and staff!
Red Lion Hotel PocatelloThe room was definitely a great value for the price.there is a large area for dogs and poop bags provided. The room was very clean and nicely furnished, with a microwave and fridge, even though it wasn’t advertised as having them. We were near the housekeeping area, and at one point, about 8 of them came out and spoiled my dogs!

Great place to stay with pets!
Super 8 by Wyndham PocatelloThe room was beautiful, and we were near the exit door on the first floor. Everthing was clean and updated. The grassy area was small, but enough to do the job. I have already booked my next stay here.

Other LaQuintas have been better
La Quinta by Wyndham San Francisco Airport NorthThe setup here is kind of weird--the pet friendly rooms are in a separate building behind a fence and across railroad tracks. The room was quite nice, but the bathroom fan was extremely loud. Ice machines on 3 of 4 floors didn't work. Guest laundry was nice and clean, but pricey. The day I left, I came back to the room to get the rest of my stuff and the door was hanging open--housekeeping was in there and had started, even though I obviously still had stuff in the room. Parking lot lights shone right in the window--had to use the blackout curtains. Room was beautiful, though!

Separate fenced areas for large and small dogs
Centennial Way Dog ParkThis is a small part of a big park. Google maps doesn't get you very close to the actual dog park part--it is way in the back. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. It is all just dirt, though, and with as damp as it was the day we were there, it meant for dirty dogs. There is water, and poop bags are provided. Long, skinny area, so good for dogs who need space to run.

This beach was great!
Crissy FieldClean, not overly crowded (it was December, though), and you can't beat the view! The Golden Gate Bridge was very close, and you can see Alkatraz from here as well. Lots of friendly people and their dogs.

This one has seen better days....
Motel 6 Elko NVThough the carpet was new and the bed was comfy, all the fixtures were ancient--the tv was the kind with the huge back. The shower was so old and dirty-looking I didn't use it. Otherwise the place was clean, so I think the issue was that it was so old you couldn't get it to look clean if you tried. Poorly-patched water damage in the ceiling. But, for under $50, including taxes, and since they would accept 2 dogs, I'd stay here again if I needed to.

Great Motel!
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury ParkClean, quiet, spacious. Everything was in good shape. 2 dog areas, clean and poop bags provided. We were on 2nd floor, but there is an elevator. Nice complimentary breakfast, noon checkout. I’ll stay here again! Good value for price.

Amazing, Clean Place for Dogs
Huntington Dog BeachYesterday was our first visit to Huntington Dog Beach--first to a dog beach ever, in fact! It was amazing! Lots of friendly dogs and people, beautiful clean beach, places to get rid of dog poop. Parking can be paid for with cash or card, which is handy.

Nice inside, scary parking lot at night
Motel 6 Costa Mesa CAWe stayed here two nights in December--the room was clean, as was the whole facility. There is a laundry room! However, there was a lot of noise right outside my room at night, and as a woman traveling solo, I was very concerned about going out to the car at night. Desk help was very friendly on check-in.
