Wasn't great

For the amount I paid, I should have looked elsewhere. $256 + pet fee + incidental fee was close to $500. The room had been used (urine and tissue paper in the toilet). I asked for no stairs (not the hotel's fault or problem) but was told to "cancel my reservation and move on" if stairs were a problem. I obviously have a problem with stairs when having a 13 yr old German shepherd. No further attempt to help me other than "there's another hotel just down the street that may be able to help you"

When I checked out, I informed the front desk clerk that there was clearly someone using this washroom and he said "Ok, you're informing me now? Ok, I'll pass it along to housekeeping." This doesn't seem reassuring. My room clearly wasn't cleaned properly and I am disappointed that they still charged me for being in a "dirty" room. I work in a hotel and this is unacceptable. The least this hotel could have done is not charged me for the pet fee.
