Good Hotel!
Candlewood Suites Mooresville an IHG HotelWe were on the 3rd floor for a return trip from Florida to Ontario. Room was nice; full mini kitchen, updated bathroom-newer tub, sink etc. Huge desk area. Kitchen area was lacking in plates, cutlery, frying pan, only 2 spoons. Really nice stair area to use instead of elevators. Doors to the outside required room key to get in. Dog walk area was fine. Would stay again. Large room, large Bathroom. Customer service was excellent and very friendly. Coffee was awful both in room and in lobby. Would prefer no carpet at all in the rooms - there was carpet in beds area. Far better than other hotel we stayed at on way down. Great stay overall!

Excellent Hotel!
Candlewood Suites Grove City - Outlet Center an IHG HotelStayed here one night on way home from Florida to Ontario with one dog-4 people. We were put on the third floor and in the exact rooms as night one in a Candlewood Suites in Mooresville, NC. Rooms 324 and 326 - they are connecting rooms in Grove City. Room was beautiful and exceptionally clean, kitchen fully stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, frying pan etc. Bathroom was partially updated; needed new tub and drain in both rooms we had did not keep up with showerhead flow you were left in standing water. Stairs were great and doors to them wide open to use instead of elevator; there was only one elevator and door took a long time to close as other reviews said! Dog area was a bit of a walk from the back door but was very nice and clean. There was spot for door key to room to get back in but was always unlocked for us. Keurig coffee in lobby was excellent. Staff was great and very friendly. Outlet mall very close by. Stay here a really nice place! Dog fee was $25 a night.

Not Clean
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ StatesvilleWe stayed here one night November 26th, 2022. We had a first floor room and the door is right by your parking spot which is nice. The room furnishings were good but the rooms we had (two) were dirty- hair all over the place, dusty, grimy gross feeling. No carpet, that was good. Toilet and tub are separate from sink area and toilet/tub area is WAY too small would be better to have put wall up to include sink area you could not move and door barely closes. Toilet tank lid chipped, lampshades weirdly stained, just a poorly maintained room. Dog area was fine. We thought we were not fussy on place for one night but it must be clean and it was not. Toilets also seemed to barely flush so slow and old and gross. Staff was super friendly at check in. We would not stay here again. No pet fee.
