Good for pets, could have been cleaner

The room was nice, had a comfortable bed, and half flooring/half carpeting. Unfortunately, it had not been cleaned well. Someone’s hair tie was on the floor (not vacuumed well) and there was a large blob of hair in the shower drain which I had to remove (hence the 3 bones). When I let the front desk staff know, I was compensated by having the pet fee removed, which seemed fair. There was a nice (free) breakfast with many options. Outside there was an area in the back to walk dogs - smallish, but fine for my poodle. There was no one there, so I brought him inside the gate of the pool and let him walk around, unleashed, after an 11 hour car ride. The area itself is not great, but it’s right off 95, so very convenient.
