We had a great time today. The beach is beautiful - especially around sunset - and it’s sparsely populated to boot (at sunset when we went)! The water is about 2 ft deep for about 100 yds so we played a long game of fetch without a ton of paddling. The leashed or under control rule made the fetch even better for our pups.

What a wonderful experience we had today. The water is so clear. Not to mention, there are miles of pup-friendly beaches and plenty of good sticks for fetchin’. The trails are also plentiful with a lot of vertical climb to tire out the pups. The trails were the perfect change of scenery from the beach. Definitely worth the stop and the entrance fee!

brought the dogs there for a place to cool off and take a dip. We had a blast! Heads up though the beach is a a dog-friendly beach, not a dog-beach and can get very busy with people, so note that it is not an off-leash environment and your pups may get a lot of attention from the kiddos.
