Great lake views
Hilton Burlington Lake ChamplainWe loved staying here, the location and view were great. We will probably be back, but there are a couple things to take into consideration that may or may not be told upfront: as part of your non-negotiable charge, you get 1 ticket/night (that expire daily) for food and beverages. I don't remember the cost, but it was about 1 cocktail/night/guest. The elevator near the car parking area is small and LOUD (we had to hold my 60+lb dog or use the stairs). The other elevators sound like a woman screeching. If you use the app to unlock your door, it nullifies your cards (not ideal for 2 guests). We had to have our car info to park (we hadn't encountered this before - they made a big deal about it). Nothing dog-welcoming, but it is close to a BEAUTIFUL dog park (overlooks the lake).

Dangerously broken
Waltham Dog RanchI went there with a friend and their dog when thr ranch first opened and thought it was very cool. I went again Fall 2022 and it was dangerous and embarassing. Almost every piece of equipment/fencing was broken with exposed sharp pieces in some cases. The tallest platforms for the dogs to jump on would easily allow a dog to jump out. There are no double-gated exits either. I wrote to the city council members for the ward and my own ward, as well as parks and rec and not one response.
