Great Hotel, mixed information
The Monsaraz San Diego, Tapestry Collection by HiltonThis is a gorgeous hotel. The restaurant is great, and the decor is cool. Super clean and quiet. Four stars because I called ahead to ask about dog policies (specifically, can a dog be left alone in the room), but at check-in was told never to leave the dog unattended. Another staff member told me they could be left for a short stay if in a kennel? Posting a cohesive policy on their website would be helpful.

Clean Rooms
Motel 6 Santa Barbara CA - State StreetThis is definitely a budget motel but the rooms were very clean and well maintained. Points to Motel 6 for always allowing dogs!

Very dog friendly… but gross
Motel 6-Bellingham WAVery dog friendly spot, but this particular Motel 6 was pretty run down and dirty (like, my feet were gross from walking barefoot), and very loud neighbours. The latter is not the hotel’s fault, but still. The paint in the room was patched up with slightly different colours, the shower was old and gross, etc. Definitely in need of a refresh.
