Hilton to the rescue!
Hilton Garden Inn Richmond InnsbrookWe had originally booked our stay through AirBnB and 5 hours before our arrival our reservation was canceled due to a plumbing issue. An inconvenience anytime it happens but especially so when traveling with our dog. BringFido app to the rescue! We booked our stay within minutes at this Hilton. A great spot with convenient dog friendly food establishments right nearby. Pet fee is $50. Not allowed on furniture or bed so come prepared. Our Emma wasn’t a big fan of the elevator, it shuttered when we started and stopped. We all settled in quickly from our long drive and all slept great ready for the next leg of our journey. A great solution for the bind we found ourselves in.

Great meal!
Capital Ale HouseOur waiter, Gabe was fantastic. He would have given Emma lots of loving if he could, restaurant policy prevents it. He brought a bowl of water for our Emma. She dined on a plain burger while my husband had the French dip burger with au jus, I had the broccoli and Parmesan pasta with shrimp. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our meals. FYI hygiene protocol for the staff and pets restrict the staff from touching your pet and they're pet policy restricts your pet from eating off of their dishes. We cut up Emma's burger with my utensils and hand fed her. It was great being able to go out to dinner with our girl.
